Print Series FINAL

In my struggle to make 3 different prints, I created four.
I really enjoyed this project. As the project progressed, an underlying theme developed.
It has become about my family issues and the decision on whether or not a divorce is to be had. My print series is symbolic of all the nice things in life and marriage, and hopefully it will get them to "Listen to reason" and stray away from the nasty conclusion of the "D" word.

Stuck in the middle of a print series

I have come to my 3rd print and am more and more unsure where I want to go with it as each moment passes.

It didnt start this way, but my 3rd print starts to become very personal and I am unsure if it is cohesive as a series.

Further infofrmation from the Print series

After doing my first print I rediscovered the use of brushes, and although this is not in anyway to be compared to my final project, I just played around with color contrast and the sizes and shapes of different brushes!

Colaborative project

This project was a very free and fun project to work on. My overall role in the creation of the mural was to create 5-6 buildings or more for the cityscape. I used the names of major cities to create my building out of text. I also used descriptive words as well. I used the text on a path tool to make the text go all around the lines of the outside as well as make the building with no lines and just add layers until it resembled a building.
The final thing is did was to fix a little problem the file had the day we were going to print it. There was a large square cut out at the bottom of the mural so I used the clone tool to recreate the text that was above and below the "hole". In some cases the overlapping of text was drastic so I had to go in really close and erase any mistakes or lines that did not match up correctly.

Although I enjoyed doing the project I am sure glad that it is done!

Collaborative Project

My group has decided to create a skyline of a made up city as our main focus.
These buildings and other misc objects inside the skyline will be completely made up of Text.

The text can be varied as far as simple just words, or poems and lyrics.
They can be in different languages, and the font and style of the text is completely up to the individual.

Book Idea - Progress

I had first decided to do a complete history of my life and certain important events that have shaped the person that I am, adoption, my mothers health, getting brothers and sisters.

That became something which would have taken too long and been to complex emotionally and would have been hard to put on the paper.

So... I thought and I thought about something anything.

I came up with the time when I was in 5th grade and had insanely crazy hair, being that I was so different from the other girls, the kids teased me. They called me names, Bushy hair Poofy hair, anything stupid that they could call me, and of course it hit me the wrong way and left me crying everyday.

That is the plot of my story.

The specifics of creating it are this:

It will have the look of a children's story. Very cartoon is with stick figures and simple sentences. I will include in the book actual pictures of myself with the hair I had at that age.
The text with be multicolored and matching the clothes of the main character "Chelsea".

word description

Perpetua Bold
I picked this text because even though there are a few dents within the letters, they are still big and bold, in other words, they are HARD

Photo composition

The man is Henrik Lundqvist. A goalie for the New York Rangers ( my favorite team ) and He took me to the Inductions ceremony of Brian Leetch and Adam Graves. The only thing I added was the red carpet background. ;-)

Junk

I made a picture

Something Personal

Chelsea Lauren Siciliano - 19 year old sophomore at The College of New Jersey
Lived here my whole life but don't call me a "Jersey girl".

I have been taking graphic related classes since my junior year in high-school.
The source of my interest in Digital Media started because my father works as a post production online editor in New York City. Growing up around the business is the main reason I became so interested in it. At first it was just because I wanted to push all the buttons, a more in depth knowledge just brought me in more. After interning at Spontaneous Combustion, a graphics house in the City, I realized that I wanted to get into 3D Animation.

- My long term goals include becoming a 3D Animator and to one day open up my own post production agency.
